Located in the heart of the Blue Mountains, the Magpie Up Style Market is a treasure trove of bargains and great buys. You’ll find a foodies section in the quadrangle, collectibles, second hand goods,… local arts and crafts, books, jewellery, plants, gozleme, yum cha, BBQ, coffee and more! Held on the third Sunday of each month (January excluded), the Blue Mountains market can be easily found on the Great Western Highway in Lawson. Located at Lawson Public School, it’s easy walking distance from trains. Always a relaxed atmosphere, take your time to browse and chat with friends and locals. A great day out for people of all ages. If you’re looking for something, there’s a great chance you’ll find it at the Magpie Up Style Market! The Blackheath Growers Market has run the 2nd Sunday of every month at the Blackheath Community Centre. We proudly host over 60 growers who can tantalise your tastebuds with a wide array of local and regional… foods. We have a wide range of fruits and vegetables, meats, breads and cheeses (cow, goat and sheep), olive oils and local wines, nuts and honey, free range eggs, spices and condiments, plants and seedlings, a wide range of baked goods and so much more.

From the vast cliff tops and exposed rock formations to the cascading waterfalls and chorusing native bush alive with the sounds of nature – there’s something to take in at every point along the UTA course. Every runner that steps on our start lines is a new member of the UTA family. Become part of the welcoming and inclusive trail running community, where you can chat with fellow trail frothers at our trail running expo, make new trail friends in town, and get to know strangers on the trails – we’re not joking when we say life long friends are made on the trails of UTA!

Discover Yulefest In the Blue Mountains, winter transforms the landscape into a magical wonderland reminiscent of a European Christmas. Picture this: lofty heights, crisp air, and the occasional snowflake,… creating a scene straight out of a holiday postcard. As mist playfully dances around the rugged cliffs, cozy up by a roaring fire with a mug of spiced mulled wine or treat yourself to a hearty roast dinner at one of the mountain’s cozy hotels or restaurants. Delight in the wonders of winter in the mountains this June, July, and August, where many venues offer traditional Christmas-style celebrations.

Winter Magic returns on June 20th 2026. The Winter Magic Festival transforms Katoomba with local artists, musicians, dancers, drummers, choirs, and food stalls. The festival invites the entire community… to enjoy the enchanting winter atmosphere of the Blue Mountains with fun for all ages. Families will love the audio-visual spectacles, live art, dance workshops, children’s entertainment, spoken word, comedy, markets, and local food and brews. With 130 performers across 13 stages—nine free and four ticketed—the festival takes over Katoomba’s venues and streets, filled with market stalls and costumed revelers.
